Safety Training

Clark Land is concerned about operating in a safe and sound manner. We have developed an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). We updated the policy to document our procedures for coping with the current pandemic.

We created the IIPP program, established a Safety Committee, and implemented a safety training program. This is outlined in our Combined Safety Policy.  Training held before June 2017, is documented in binders. Training held after that date is incorporated on the clr.college website and within the recordings of Watercooler Meetings stored on Microsoft Teams, etc.

We encourage staff to report unsafe conditions to a manager, a team lead, or to Human Resources. This can be done verbally or may be documented on the Report of Unsafe Condition or Hazard Form contained in the Combined Safety Policy (IIPP). If one does not feel comfortable doing that, one may report to the HR Department at hr@clarklandresources.com.

Safety training happens on the date of hire, during scheduled staff meetings, and when warranted.

On the day of hire, we draw your attention to…

COMBINED SAFETY POLICY VIEWER

Cyber Security

We use a security application for our Office 365 Suite to protect our Outlook email, etc.  It is provided by the Avanan Company and it continuously monitors the emails that come to Clark Land’s Office 365 email addresses.

You may see one of the following cautionary messages if you receive a questionable email message…

The subject of the email might indicate if it is suspicious with an [Alert/Phishing] message. Treat these messages carefully. [A sample warning email is here.]

You may see a message at the top of the email which asks if you trust this user. Take a moment to confirm the source and the content and select “yes” or “no” as appropriate.

If you receive an email with a suspicious attachment, it may be quarantined. In some cases, you will have an option to retrieve the email. If you do so, proceed with caution; otherwise, just delete it.

As always, we take your email security concerns seriously and encourage you to remain diligent.  There is a video Cybersecurity Reference Guide below.  If you have any questions or concerns, email HR. Thank you.
